Breast Cancer Awareness…
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This month is a great time to remember anyone you have know who was or who is currently fighting Breast Cancer.
I love that this disease has a month dedicated to it because it gives people a lot of opportunities to spread the word and even do what they can to help raise money. Listed below are some of my favorite ways that people are spreading awareness and raising money for research:
- My good friend Kathryn Noblitt and her sister Maureen Mullen are walking in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer today, Saturday 10/24 in Charlotte. They have done an AMAZING job raising money and are very prepared to walk their 39.3 miles. Think of them this weekend! Their donation website is:

- I am sure you have noticed all of the Pink on the NFL players and Coaches during this month and I think it’s great! This is their Press Release on all of the NFL’s efforts to help this month!

- There is also this site: www.thebreastcancersite.com where you can visit daily and just with a simple click ( no sign up, no money donating or anything – just a click) you are helping to donate money to help pay for mammograms. It’s so super easy and there is no excuse this isn’t a part of your daily routine all year long.
- I also love the whole “Pink with a Wink” mentality. The shirts are funny and so catchy that again, people raise awareness and help with small donations .

Wellll.. have you donated or bought a funny shirt yet? Have you clicked on the link for free? What have you done this month to help raise awareness for Breast Cancer?

Thanks Katie! I agree…anything we can do to raise money/awareness for a great cause is worth doing!!! Thanks for your support!!!
breast cancer is of course easy to diagnose early and very easy to treat if you catch it early-;:
