Christmas Ornaments…

December 8, 2009

Albie and I had our first Christmas together in 2007, after graduation but before we had our house.  Needless to say our first Christmas Tree had dollar store ornaments, pretty but still – not meaningful ornaments.

After that tree Albie and I decided that we would collect Christmas Ornaments from everywhere we went together and that’s how we would make our tree better and better every year.

The past 2  years were obviously big for us since we got engaged, bought a house, Albie switched jobs, went to our first bowl game, bought a new car, got married, went on our honeymoon, took our road trip etc… So with most of these events we started collecting:

Graduation Trip to Mexico May 2007

Trip to Balitmore to watch NC State vs Maryland and Visit Jenny Oct.2008

First Christmas in our House gift from Christmas 2008

Vulcan Statue from Birmingham, Alabama from our bowl game trip Dec. 2008

Wedding Ears were a Shower cake Topper April 2009

Honeymoon to St. Lucia May 2009

Wrought Iron gate from Savannah, GA June 2009

Gift from Mom's trip to Amsterdam July 2009

Memphis stop on our road trip July 2009

New Orleans stop on our road trip July 2009

Trip up to Boston to visit with Aunt Jeanne and Uncle Tim and watch NC State vs BC Oct. 2009

We finally put our tree up on Sunday so I was enjoying the chance to look back at all of our ornaments and remember where we got them. Can’t wait to see what ornaments we collect in 2010!

Love this! They are beautiful, I hope you learn from the year the cat tried to climb the tree and tie it with fishing line, maybe dogs don’t knock over trees, but daddy and I lost alot of our most precious ornaments that year from our early years. Somehow secure the tree so all these ornaments stay safe. Enjoy the tree honey!
