Vanderburg – Lockavitch Wedding …

This past Saturday my good friend Dawn married Alec after dating for 7 years so Albie and I went up to Concord to celebrate!

Dawn and I were suite mates at Meredith College and have remained good friends since. She is a graphic designer and from the first Save-The-Date magnet to the invitation and programs, I knew she would have every detailed covered and it would be beautiful.

The day was off and on rainy but seemed to be sunny at just the right times

The reception was about 30 minutes away from the Church in Salisbury which is where we were staying. It was held at the Historic Salisbury Train Depot:

Sweet Heart Table

The Train Depot was opened up so the reception was both inside and outside. The band and dance floor were outside so because it was super hot there wasn’t a lot of dancing right away, other than Kathryn’s crazy dancing family who puts everyone to shame with their ballroom dance moves.

We ended up scooting out a bit early but we had a great time and just like I had figured, Dawn had made a beautiful wedding with every detail covered.

Best of luck to both of you, Dawn & Alec!

This is such a beautiful wedding! I’m getting married at the train depot soon and was hoping to contact the bride to ask exactly how they hung the paper lanterns outside… any chance you could connect me with her? Thanks!
