Becky’s Feista Bachelorette…

July 14, 2010

This past Saturday I attended the bachelorette party of my good friend and ‘Big Sis’, Becky who gets married this Saturday. I have had so much fun chatting with Becky and giving my two-cents on her new beautiful house she built, her bridal portraits, books for the honeymoon and of course wedding etiquette.

Becky’s bachelorette party was not your typical bachelorette party: no pen15 jokes or props and no excessive drinking and dancing. She wanted to include her high school aged niece and some of her family members so she requested that everything be kept things very PG. Her bridesmaids did a GREAT job at making things, fun and celebratory and her Feista theme was perfect!

After eating and drinking we headed outside to watch Becky beat up a Burro (Bull) Pinata…

Then it was time for her gifts… Everyone kept things pretty PG in this department too and she made out some cute nighties. (How cute is little Milo, Her sweet dog? He was the cuddliest guy all night, such a ladies man.)

Becky’s mom also came prepared with all of the bows off of gifts from Becky’s six showers (yes six!)  and we made the practice bouquets for her rehearsal. Mine was pretty awesome, not gonna lie, it was mostly made of Crate & Barrel ribbon. I loved it.

It was a great night for Becky and it was so nice to get to know some more of the girls who will be at the wedding this weekend! Can’t wait for Saturday Becky!

Looks like it was fun and I’m happy to hear that the bridesmaids kept with the brides requests to keep it PG so her nieces could attend.

I may be in the minority but I requested that my bachelorette party was kept fairly PG as well. We had lots of fun though!

P.S. Love your dress, where did you get it!?!?

Thanks! My dress is from Ann Taylor loft last year. It’s one of my “day time wedding dresses”. It’s a really light material so I can wear it when it’s hot out.
