Christmas Card Outtakes…

December 18, 2010

As promised, here are some of the funnier outtakes from our card photo shoot (Card we ended up using is HERE). I’ll skip the ones where my hair looks weird, or Albie is sitting funny, these were the real gems:

Finley was acting so exhausted that he kept flopping over like he had run the stadium steps or something.Albie kept trying to prop him up and then he would  flop over again.

This is our neighbor’s sweet dog Nelly. She loves us… unless she and I are sunning and I splash water on her in the back yard, then she’s not so happy to hang out – but I guess mid pictures she thought, hum I’d like to hang out with them right.. now! She cracked us up.

After we had the field in a bunch of picture we tried to be creative and get the giant logo in the back and some how I got stuck trying to keep our fairly large dog still while sitting on a trash can. in a short dress. sigh.. anyway it makes for a funny picture. Ha!

The goofs I refuse to post to the internet are actually perfectly fine pictures from far away. I look ok, Albie looks ok, Finley is looking at the camera, no wind blowing hair to be all dumb looking etc… unless you know what to look for you’d miss it – but it’s Finley’s “lipstick”. And It’s gross. I am especially grossed out by the amount of time I spent trying to edit out said “lipstick” from pictures. Bet you couldn’t tell in the picture we ended up using :)

And as much as I love the picture we ended up going with, sometimes the goofs are more fun to look at.

Hey, just wanted to thank you for posting (this was ages ago!) about Next month I will find myself roadtripin’ with a Havanese and her awesome human companion through the deep south! As a cat person, I’m not sure how I remembered a travel website for dogs, but it was essential in finding a nice hotel that would accommodate everyone. THANK YOU!

Love the dress, by the way.
