Swoozie’s Going Out of Business…

Unfortunately, this is not an April fools.

I had head rumors about one of my favorite stores turning down orders and then witnessed it myself when I needed to have a bag monogrammed that my brother got me for my birthday. He was smart enough to have gotten me a gift card to get it monogrammed so a week after my birthday I took it in and they were already not accepting gift cards or special orders.

It was confirmed in early March when they filed for bankruptcy. Then mid-March they put a letter to their customers on their blog. Now, they are having their dreaded Going Out Of Business sale.

I am so saddened by this company’s failure!  They printed my wedding invitations, ceremony programs, and save the date hotel cards. They have done hundreds of dollars in personalized stationary for  me (I love stationary, get over it) and have provided me with countless hostess, shower and baby gifts.

I will be going to my local Swoozie’s at lunch to stock up on whatever cute items they have left but if you know of somewhere that can fulfill all of my needs again, let me know. I feel like I lost a good friend :(
